I agree with the government's fiscal direction in relation to a re-distribution of tax benefits.
If someone is already on a six-figure salary, why would they need further tax breaks? Why the Australian people need to "further discuss" this matter is beyond me. We simply cannot afford to carry the don't-haves AND the haves at the same time. We can only do one; not both. I'd suggest the haves ought to start pulling their own weight and get on with it.
If the haves can afford to buy luxury imported vehicles, then they shouldn't be bleating about the cost of fuel or the import duties attached to the vehicle. They all go with the territory. If that's a problem, buy a cheaper, locally-assembled vehicle then. Sheesh!
