Well SJP, if you delight in portraying a man-eating vamp on TV long enough, unfortunately the line between reality and fiction gets blurred.

So yeah, in the eyes of many, you have become that trollop.

This is probably the same taint that continues to smear Rob Lowe and Charlie Sheen to some extent. These guys played up in their younger years and are still viewed as untrustworthy bastards not worth bringing home to mum.

I don't know enough about the show to comment on the character she plays, but I know the general concept and the idea of watching other people be neurotic about their unnecessarily complicated and unhealthy sex life doesn't sound like my idea of a good time.

That's certainly a template for a swag of TV shows and movies out there these days eg. Gilmore Girls, Ugly Betty, Big Love, The Notebook, Step Up, et al.

Most of these are chick flicks and seriously, it's not just body image issues that afflict young women. There's a whole stack of psycho-garbage that young women (especially teen girls) are programmed to watch and assimilate, that one wonders: are they being conditioned to behave like those assinine broads on SITC when they reach their early 20s?

Can't stand these shows/movies. Endless list of complications and belly gazing crap.
